    [...] Many UKAS Accredited Inspection Bodies have confirmed that they have made the necessary changes to comply with HSG 264 through a process of self accreditation until their next UKAS Inspection which will be at some point over the next 12 months. Until the 30th April 2010 no accredited surveying organisation shall be in a position to report surveys undertaken in accordance with HSG264 as UKAS accredited. This then leaves clients wondering if this system of self policing is truly sufficient when appointing an Asbestos Inspection company. [...]
